“Alright men, ready to get SWIM trunk summer ready?!”

(Men are subject to body shaming too- but not nearly as much in our American Society as women)

There is NO question the industry focuses on our vulnerabilities to sell us products. Think “mom pooch” “chicken wing arms” and “cellulite” coupled with words like “sick of that...and get rid of...”
-
I’m a consumer (duh) but- when a products’ underlying message is “you are not worthy unless you take up LESS space” then I have to take a step back-
And see if this is something I want to buy.

We must be wary of what diet culture is saying to our daughters and sons (and us!)

I’m here to lead fitness classes where people of all sizes can leave feeling empowered.
