Thought or TIP of the day:
Think outside of the box when promoting your business.
I teach regular classes at a community center here in Spokane WA and when I found out that some stores here in Spokane offer weekend classes, I “jumped” onboard. -
I approached every business IN PERSON, shook hands, was nervous- but went for it anyway. -
I made flyers, showed them my video resume and MADE sure to tell them how the class would bring THAT business VALUE.
Every class that I taught was free to the public. -
Key take aways:
I HEARD A LOT OF NO’S, but I did hear 4 YES’S
Make sure you ‘show’ how you can- or provide value to their business.
Always THANK them afterward (if they say no too)
