If I had a quarter for every training client that said to me,
-
“Is there something wrong with me?--That I don’t LOVE working out?”
-
...I could go be occupied in an arcade for at least 97 hours.
-
And you know what I assure them when they DO ask me that?
YES. YES. YES!
It IS okay!

Are there some folks who LOVE it?
Yes.
Are there some that wake up and just can’t WAIT to hop on the bike-
or go on a morning run?
YES.
Is there something ‘wrong’ with you
if that’s NOT you?
NO!

I hear so many of my colleagues in the fitness industry assure their clients’
“Trust me, schedule it- and you’ll learn to CRAVE it”
-
Does an accountant love numbers?
Does a financial advisor love geeking out on 20 year retirement plans?
Does a baker love making cakes & cookies?
DOES A FITNESS PROFESSIONAL LOVE WORKING OUT in hopes that you will too? (maybe not? but probably yes…)
***this is a general statement of assumption that you are in a field that *you* find or at ONE point FOUND slightly interesting to prove a point***

I’m NOT saying you MAY not learn to love movement or exercise-
What I am saying- is…
It’s okay if it’s NOT your favorite thing in the world. -
To this group of folks, I say- “find something that MOVES you that is tolerable- not something you LOATHE or else you’ll NEVER do it-
but something that you’re like “meh- this is aight, I think I can do this often”
