Today I was guiding a client through our session-
-
“Engage the glutes!” I’d say, “remember to DRIVE HARD with that knee coming forward-“
And

“Always know you have child’s pose in your back pocket if you need a rest”

I actually CLAPPED when she rested in the set.

I could sense the confusion...
Clapping? While I’m resting? What kind of trainer is she?

The kind that encourages you to listen to your body.
The kind that knows if I want you to love movement, I have to show you that you resting has a place in the arena.
The kind that wants your to move until your 70, not go hard for 12 weeks and quit.
