One way to motivate your class is to ENGAGE with them.

For the most part, I’m front and center demoing the moves, but when I know they have it down-or it’s something I can easily cue verbally with the mic-
I’ll go and DO it with them.

Side by side Mountain climbers ✅
Jump squats✅
Fast feet✅

I’ll make movements with my hands like they are LITERALLY lighting the floor on fire

(I know- I’m extremely clever)

I’ll give high fives, scream out loud-wipe my brow and upper lip with them-“PHEW” I’ll say- “that was a DOOZY!”

*always making mental notes of who likes to be engaged with, and who is giving me the stink eye- 😂*

Teaching group fitness is an ebb and flow, some classes are high intensity, some aren’t.
Some like green eggs and ham, some don’t (wait, now I’ve gone off track)

Anyway, here is one way to make the class fun- change things up- because at the end of the day “group instructors are JUST like us!”
