In a STRONG by Zumba class, there are 4 sections (or quadrants) 4️⃣
Quadrant 4- the last one, is done exclusively on the floor and is called…
wait for it- FLOOR PLAY-🤷🏻♀️
I know I know...OYE.
The movements consist of core work while also incorporating active movement of the upper & lower body-
To include isometric holds. .
These movements or sustained holds will work you out- just in trying to maintain proper form throughout.
If you are like me, you will probably have to wipe sweat from your eyebrows multiple times during this last part- so don’t forget to bring your mats to class to see what all the hype (..SO much HYPE) —is about.
