This was a slogan attached to a picture that was sent to me today by a friend (saying, “what do you think about this marketing slogan?”)

Before I go into my response, I want to make sure that with my messaging, I’m setting some things in place-
-
1) that I’m coming from a place of “calm” - things like this tend to make me pretty angry, bc my goal is to have people fall in love with movement- so selling a product by making people feel BAD makes no sense to me.
So I made sure to respond once I took a lot of deeeeep breaths.

2) I want to make sure that I’m coming from a place TO educate- to provide a different perspective-
and provide insight to the person/club/gym. I have no interest in shaming ANYONE- so I remind my self to inform, and let go-

But my message/comment (in summary) was this-
“If you are interested in appealing to the vast Spokane community, I suggest you re-think your marketing strategy-
BUT if not, disregard my message.”
