Last year, I got a DM asking me if I wanted to showcase my canvases at a local #art shop @tsugaarts -

If you know me- you know i almost peed myself when I got this DM- replying “Uhhh. Is the pope CATHOLIC?!”

(No I didn’t actually say that- but I was pumped!)

The owner was such a breath of fresh air- @mnttidings gathered so many pieces of art to show off in her shop.
I remember her showing me one piece of art, explaining to me that the artist created this work- while working through an #illness.

Art (in all its funky forms) is so neat- so detailed and tells a story beyond what we see. I’m for sure sad to see the shop go, but I know that her #heart for art- (rhyme time) and these artists will continue bringing their gifts to the world. •
Thankful to her for DMing me- and helping build my confidence- and looking forward to see how @beeyouorganics shapes the space.

For now, I’ll just stand here with my box of unsold items and a sullen look on my face...😩😂😍
