As a group instructor, assuming that everyone in your class is THERE because of weight loss goals is foolish.

I went to spin this morning because I was angry and sad and wanted to release some of those emotions on a spin bike.

I’ve had an up & down week, tears welled up twice, and I let ‘em flow-

The message that exercise and movement is an amazing way to elevate our moods- gets lost somewhere between detox teas and filters-

If you need to rest- rest-
Is you need to cry, cry-
And if you need to punch someone (taking a group class, a run, or a walk-) is a slightly more socially acceptable way to go about your anger..
