Every day that passes, I’m getting more and more comfortable with who I am becoming.
-
I used to let something like this HOLD ME BACK-
the fact that I was so different. -
WHO wants to work with a trainer that doesn’t take weight?- I thought to myself…
WHO would reach out to a trainer that doesn’t post pictures of their body every day- who oftentimes posts about her art, or her mom wins/fails or her thoughts about grieving.
WHO would recommend a trainer that tells her clients- (in fact ENCOURAGES her clients) to rest during the workouts?
-
Well, guess I was wrong-
b/c it turns out, there are a whole slew of people that see my differences, and have sought me out BECAUSE of them. -
I’m NOT saying this to bash ANYONE’S WAY of doing their thing-
I’m telling you all this BECAUSE I once thought that the way that I viewed things, my approach to fitness and my course of action was WRONG
b/c I wasn’t ‘like the rest’
-
So please, let this be a reminder to you all that there is space for EVERY BODY here.
-
There is space for the saved by the bell fanatic who sews hats for cats.
There is space for the mother of 4-who wants to start a vlog about gardening.
There is space for a photographer who loves taking photos of feet. (please believe me- b/c I’ve received DMs from them…)
And lastly-
There’s space for a personal trainer who took the road less traveled- who sells art, who talks about making play doh, is the first to point out her flaws-
and who doesn’t take intake photos.
