I want you to read each of these comments- (1 & 2)

After reading each one, I want you to think about what images come to mind, what things pop up in your head after each one is said to you by a group instructor.

Does one of them imply and EXTERNAL reason only for movement & exercise? Does one of them make you feel you have to look or be a certain way- or have a CERTAIN end goal to exercising? Does one of them imply an INTERNAL reason for being in a group fitness class?

One of my dear friends told me that she heard a comment on the left during her workout, and was baffled by it, because she has expressed to me that one of her main reasons for exercising regularly is for improved mental health.

I view my platform as a way to educate, to inform you all (and other fitness instructors) that there is another way.
Another way to view exercise and movement- another way to motivate and encourage-
as well as help YOU identify and recognize this type of language in group fitness classes.
