My mistake sparked a great idea (in my mind) HA!
-
I was going through my phone deleting videos because it keeps giving me that dumb “You’re almost outta space!” Prompt- 🤦🏻‍♀️😩whatever phone.
-
Anyway! As I was watching videos prior to deleting them, I saw this one and saw the mistake!!!
-
Which prompted me to write an article/post about—
-
“5 tips every group instructor should know (that they don’t teach you in group ex training” (Coming soon...)
-
But here’s a snippet-
Tip #1: As a instructor, if you are FACING your class, you are a MIRROR image to your students- so YOUR RIGHT is their LEFT and vice versa.
-
So when your back is TURNED, the opposite is true.
-
The mistake in this video lies when I make the 180 turn. I lead with the same foot (for ME!) but the opposite foot for my students (because I turned)
-
If this is not making sense, don’t worry- not every is a group instructor- HA!
-
But anyway-
Point being-
-
Sometimes mistakes are not only our greatest lessons, but they lead to cool things-
-
Seeing this mistake prompted me to writing my second @linkedin article (which is scary for me) and if I wouldn’t have seen this - I wouldn’t have thought of it.
-
So, thanks Jamie- for always making mistakes- 😂😍
-
Any group instructors out there? What have you learned since training? (Help me out!) 😂😂😂
