Isn’t it wild how we can appreciate beauty so much-
(Ie. Living in Washington state and loving how green it is- or the summers here, or the trees—) but on the other hand complain about what makes it beautiful—
99% of washitonians know it best—
“Eewwww- i hate it there- doesn’t it RAIN ALL the TIME?”
Well no crap it does- it’s GREENER than a frogs butt out here!
But you know what- you can’t have the beautiful, the hikes, the colored trees, the flowers- without the rain.
You can’t feel JOY without knowing despair.
You can’t appreciate a warm home without feeling frozen with a thin coat one night.
I have to constantly remind myself when I hear myself start to complain about something—
That there is another side-
And don’t get me wrong- I’m not over here pooping rainbows all the time- but it’s a tool that helps me survive this life.
Also- this is my surprise to @lularoenicolebenjamin - she commented on my IG story how she wanted this in her vandal colors- so I had to deliver! 😍
